The Washington Canoe Club is the oldest canoe and kayak club in the Washington area as well as one of the oldest and most distinguished in the country. WCC is recognized nationally as a pre-eminent Olympic sprint canoe and kayak facility in the United States, having fielded winning athletes in the games since 1936. Current activities at the Club include both recreational and competitive canoe, kayak and stand up paddleboard. Anyone can apply for membership, and we welcome paddlers of all ages and skill levels. We also host community groups and the public at our boathouse, including social and paddling events throughout the year.
