Washington Area Frisbee Club

WAFC Jr. is an affiliate of the Washington Area Frisbee Club that organizes youth-only ultimate Frisbee games in the DC area.

We serve players K – 12 in the greater metro area. While we have primarily served high school-aged students and primarily young boys, the landscape is shifting rapidly. More and more middle school-aged students are demanding playing opportunities to play, and we have answered the call with a fall middle school league. In addition, both local pro teams, the DC Breeze and the DC Current, have been working with WAFC to host clinics and other opportunities to grow. In addition, the ultimate world is supporting opportunities for girls and women to play. WAFC is proud to partner with the Girls Ultimate Movement (GUM) in their work. If you’re interested in opportunities for your daughter(s) to play ultimate, we want to help! Please reach out.

We have teams from all over the DC region including teams up beyond Frederick MD and even on the Eastern Shore.  And we are always looking to add new teams to our community. There are opportunities for experienced teams as well as new teams to get many competitive games during our spring season (see below).

Our main season is in the spring where we organize and host games from mid-March to early June.  We also organize tournaments in the fall and clinics in the summer depending on interest. We do whatever we can to support and promote youth ultimate and will try our best to connect you with information and resources to help your program grow.
