Ice World is a large and modern skating facility, with two NHL size sheets of ice under one roof! We offer lots of public skating sessions, as well as group instruction in figure skating, youth and adult hockey, and lots of group and child birthday parties! Check out our on-site pro shop for the latest skating and hockey gear and the region’s best skate sharpening and repair. Private instruction and rentals available year round.
Skating:Â IceWorld offers a broad spectrum of ice skating programs for all ages and abilities. We are also home to the Chesapeake Figure Skating Club, a locally run, non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the sport and art of figure skating here in north central Maryland. Additional Educational Resources are available from US Figure Skating and the Professional Skaters Association.
Hockey:Â It’s the coolest sport on earth! And you can learn to play right here at IceWorld. We offer a variety of ‘learn to play’ programs for youth through adults. We offer outstanding coaching as well as reasonable ice times and a schedule that can meet your needs
