Arlington County Parks & Recreation promotes wellness and vitality through dynamic programs and attractive public spaces.Arts classes are offered through the country for children as young as 1 1/2 years. From Abrakadoodle to Mixed Media, Knitting, Sewing, Ceramics, Drawing & Painting and Photography there is something to get your creative juices flowing.
Dance classes such as pre-ballet, tap and other movement classes are a great way to try out a particular dance style.
For sports, the county offers youth baseball, football, cheerleading, lacrosse, soccer, softball, wrestling and more. Other play-based classes included Classic Tales ‘n Tunes music/play, open play at Barcroft and Lubber Run centers and more.
We recommend you register early because classes tend to fill up in these highly popular classes.,
