Krav Maga Federation

When Imi Lichtenfeld created Krav Maga, his concept was a Martial Art to be utilized by everyone regardless of size, strength, age or fitness level. The techniques taught are for actual self-defense situations. Unlike other Martial Arts such as Tae Kwon Do, Karate and Judo, there are no competitive tournaments or katas in Krav Maga. Each school of the Krav Maga Federation follows the guidelines and principles set forth by Imi and continued by Master Instructor Rhon Mizrachi, without alteration.

Imi Lichtenfeld originally devised Krav Maga as a set of techniques to be used as military tactics. He further developed this base of material as a martial art to teach Krav Maga to civilians. We teach students a variety of defensive reactions for every possible attack situation, building upon a shared framework of usable techniques. Students utilize responses that are appropriate to their capabilities.

As a Krav Maga Federation school, we dedicate ourselves to providing the highest level of Krav Maga training. The financially independent KMF schools maintain their strong affiliations through training and testing together. For this reason, the Federation functions as a family, working to uphold the art of Krav Maga.
