7th Annual Hains Point 100

One woman’s personal effort to get more women on bikes by celebrating at Hains Point! …registration details coming soon!

This is a ride to raise awareness and funds for the Washington Area Bicycling Association’s Women & Bicycles program. The organizers believe that getting more women on bikes will make DC a better place for everyone. And, the previous five years have provided Women & Bicycles with thousands of dollars through this effort!
This is not a formal event – we’re just getting together on a chilly Sunday to ride our bikes in a circle and have some fun! All level of riders are welcome!

This year’s ride will be on Sunday December 16th. Past years have been a lot of fun with people in costumes, snacks and coffee from sponsors, pot luck food from participants, door prizes from sponsors, hand-up prizes along the route. While some people will be cranking out 100 miles others will do 100 kilometers or 100 half miles or 100 half kilometers or whatever distance you feel like riding that day.
This meetup page will be updated when the registration opens up for this year’s HP100.

This ride is not being organized by 20s and 30s Cyclists. This meetup event is being set up to provide links and information to our members and so that members can use the comment section here to arrange carpooling, meeting locations, etc.
